I've been really fancying lamb recently and I created this delicious meal. Serves 4.
500g lamb mince
4 onions
4 cloves garlic
2 sticks celery
1-2 tsp ground cinnamon
1-2 tsp ground corriander
1-2 tap ground cumin
1-2tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp HP sauce or a few drops Worcestershire sauce
Sprinkling of crushed, dried chilli
1 tin tomatoes
Method
Finely chop the celery and coarsely chop the onion. Fry both together in a saute pan till soft and golden and add the finely chopped garlic to cook through.
Now empty the onions and fry the meat on a high temperature till cooked through, then add the spices according to taste. Fry briefly to release the flavours, then add the tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes while you cook the pasta. I used fresh penne.
I served it with a minted cucumber yogurt.
